MILWAUKEE, Wisc. -- Junior guard Justin Peeples scored a team-high 14 points, as the Trinity International Trojans suffered a 91-71 loss to the defending NAIA Division II national champion Cardinal Stritch Wolves, Tuesday night at the CSU Field House.

The Trojans (2-9, 0-2 CCAC) struggled to find their shot early, as Cardinal Stritch opened with a 16-2 run to start the game. The Wolves (7-1, 2-0 CCAC) maintained a double-digit lead throughout the first half, as TIU went into the halftime break trailing 51-32. CSU briefly stretched their lead to 30 points during a 12-0 run midway through the second half, but Trinity were able to close the gap back down to 20 points before the final buzzer.

Peeples collected his 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including one three-pointer and a 1-for-2 performance from the free throw line. Junior Nate Ball posted 11 points and 11 rebounds to earn his seventh double-double in TIU's first 11 games of the year, extending his lead in the CCAC. James Glass also pitched in with 11 points on the night as well.

The Trojans wrap up their current ten-game road trip when they travel to St. Xavier on December 3. Tipoff against the Cougars is set for 7:00 p.m.
