Amari Parham led Trinity International with a career-high 12 points, but overall the Trojans struggled to find their shot, falling on the road to the Judson Eagles, 69-48, Saturday afternoon.

Abbey Bernas layup on the second possession of the game ended up as the lone field goal for TIU over the first 11 minutes, as Judson jumped out to a 19-4 advantage. Trinity would cut the lead to ten with a 7-2 run fueled by scores from Parham, Bernas, and
Mackenzie Crews, but the Eagles would outscore TIU 20-3 throughout the final 7:19 of the first half.
Trinity would warm up in the second half, especially from outside, hitting a season-high seven three-pointers in the game, with six coming after the halftime break. Five different Trojans would knock down treys, as a 17-6 run would close the gap to 56-37 with 4:21 to play. Five Trojans would score during the run, which included four treys, from
Arielle Miree, Parham, Daja Johnson, and
Nika Bracun. The first-half deficit proved to be too much, as the Trojans ultimately fell despite outscoring Judson 34-28 in the second half.
Saturday was the second time this season Parham led the Trojans in scoring, after previously setting her career-best with 11 points in a loss to Millsaps (Miss.) on Nov. 21.
Trinity will continue their current five-game road trip next Friday, December 19, when they travel to Robert Morris. Tipoff against the Eagles from Arlington Heights is set for 5:00 p.m.
