Freshman Andy Stauffer leads the Trojan attack, but Trinity International falls to the Eagles, 82-63.

Box Score ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. -- Freshman Andy Stauffer led Trinity International for the second time in the last three games, picking up 10 points in a 82-63 road loss to the No. 22 Robert Morris Eagles. TIU held a narrow lead in the early minutes of the first half, but a 23.3% shooting performance before the halftime break led to a 12-point deficit at the break.

The Trojans (4-25, 2-16 CCAC) jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead when Stauffer knocked down a three-pointer, following a pair of free throws from Justin Peeples. Robert Morris (21-8, 12-6 CCAC) came back to tie the score before James Glass scored on a layup at the 16:40 mark, assisted by Josh Markum.

Robert Morris answered with six straight points, and held a lead the rest of the way. A 15-5 run from the Eagles stretched their lead to 26-14 with 9:02 to play until the break. Trinity International went into the half trailing 35-23; Glass led the TIU offense with nine points on 3-of-8 shooting off the bench.

The lead stretched to 20 points, as RMU scored eight unanswered to start the second half. Blake Mann's fast-break layup at the 10:26 mark would bring the Trojans to within 16 points thanks to a Tommie Ramsey steal, but that would be as close as TIU would get the rest of the way.

Stauffer finished as the lone Trojan in double figures on the night, while Glass posted nine points to lead the TIU bench. Sam Salem and Mann each collected eight points, while Nate Ball posted seven points and seven rebounds.

The Trojans return home this Saturday, for the final game of the season, when they host St. Francis at 7:30 p.m. Senior Night festivities will begin before the game, as Trinity International will recognize the team's lone senior, Zach Sweatman.
