Trinity International takes on the Eagles in the final road match of the year, before finishing out the season with a Senior Night matchup with St. Francis.

This Week
Just two more games remain for the Trinity International Trojans this season, as the team enters the final week of the regular season. TIU will first hit the road to take on the Robert Morris Eagles on Wednesday night, before returning to the Meyer Sports Complex for their Senior Night matchup with St. Francis on Saturday. Both games will be available online as the Trojans look to finish the 2013-14 campaign on a high note. The RMU game will be broadcast at www.EagleSportsNetwork.com, while the home game with the Fighting Saints can be found via the TIU Sports Network.

Last Time Out
Freshman point guard Arielle Miree was the lone player in double figures, with a team-high 11 points, as Trinity International suffered a low-scoring, 58-36 loss at Indiana-Northwest on Monday night. TIU committed 31 turnovers, their second-highest total of the season in the loss, leading to 26 points for the RedHawks. On Wednesday, senior Clarissa Woodard led the Trojans with 13 points, but as a team TIU struggled to find their shot, falling to the Judson Eagles 80-55. TIU shot .268 (19-71) from the field, compared to the Eagles' .388 (26-67), including a 40% performance in the second half.

Freshman forward Basha Ramsey led the Trojans with 10 points, but Trinity International fell behind early and were unable to pull off an upset over the No. 6 St. Xavier Cougars on Saturday, dropping the home game, 94-50. Turnovers plagued the Trojans all night, as a total of 30 mishaps led to 39 Cougar points on the night.

Team Rankings
• Trinity International ranks 13th in the CCAC in scoring offense, averaging 53.3 points per game.
• Defensively, the Trojans are 11th in the league, allowing 75.0 points to the opposition.
• The Trojans have collected 10.9 steals per game this season, to rank 19th in NAIA Division II, and 5th in the CCAC.
• The team ranks 26th nationally with 272 total steals this season.
• With 13.4 offensive rebounds per game, the Trojans rank 49th in NAIA-II.
• Against Goshen (Ind.) on Nov. 15, the Trojans picked off 17 steals to record a season-high; Senior Abby Hemmeger had a career-high eight steals on the night, the third-highest total in the CCAC this season.
• The Trojans matched that total on Monday, picking up 17 steals in a loss at Indiana-Northwest.

Player Notes
#44 • Clarissa Woodard
• The Trojans' leading rebounder, Woodard averages 6.3 rebounds per game, and ranks 19th on the CCAC leaderboard.
• Woodard currently places 25th on the conference scoring list with 11.5 points per game.
• The senior is shooting 79.1% from the free throw line, the 9th-best free-throw percentage in the league.
• Earlier this season, Woodard set career highs in back-to-back games, first putting up 21 points in the overtime loss to Judson on Dec. 14, followed by 28 points against Robert Morris on Dec. 21.
• In TIU's loss at Holy Cross on Jan. 11, the senior recorded her 500th career rebound in a TIU uniform, and now has 567 boards over her career for a 4.8-per-game average.
• Woodard led the Trojans with 13 points at Judson last week, but put up just six points combined in the team's losses to Indiana-Northwest and St. Xavier.

#22 • JaToya Woods
• Sophomore guard JaToya Woods made her season debut on Jan. 11, coming off the bench and recording 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting.
• Woods is averaging 8.4 points per game on the year, with a season-high 16 points coming the loss to Olivet Nazarene on Jan. 22.
• As a freshman last season, Woods averaged 8.8 points per game over 19 appearances, with a career high of 21 points coming in the win over Goshen (Ind.) on Dec. 15, 2012.
• The Racine, Wisc. native reached double figures in five of her first eight appearances, but hasn't recorded 10 or more points in her last four games, scoring eight at Judson, and nine against St. Xavier.

#21 • Basha Ramsey
• Ramsey has averaged 6.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game during her freshman season, starting in 18 of the Trojans' 24 games this year.
• Ramsey ranks 27th in the conference in rebounding, but ranks second in the league among freshmen.
• The freshman is 17th in the CCAC with 4.5 defensive boards each game.
• She started the season by scoring in double-figures in her first four games, but has done it just three since then, most recently against St. Xavier last weekend, when she collected ten points.
• Against one of Trinity's toughest opponents of the early season, Ramsey recorded career-highs with 15 points and 11 rebounds against St. Xavier for her first career double-double. The freshman averaged 12.5 points per game against the Cougars this season.
• Along with her performace against SXU, Ramsey recorded eight points on 3-of-11 shooting, with 11 rebounds.

#11 • Abigail Hemmeger
• Senior guard Abigail Hemmeger has started all 25 games for the Trojans, leading the TIU offense with 2.5 assists per game while averaging 5.8 points each night.
• Defensively, Hemmeger has picked off an average of 2.6 steals per game, 5th-most in the CCAC, and the 24th-best average in the NAIA.
• The Kokomo, Ind. set a career high with nine assists in the loss to Robert Morris on Dec. 21. She has eight career games with five or more assists, and four this season.
• Hemmeger also put up one of the better defensive performances across the CCAC earlier this season, when she recorded a career-high eight steals in the win over Goshen. The game currently stands as the fourth-highest steal total in a game by a conference team this year.
• The senior averaged 7.3 points and 3.0 steals per game last week over three appearances.

#3 • Arielle Miree
• Miree earned her first career start on Dec. 21 against Robert Morris, where the freshman set career highs in rebounds (3), assists (3), and minutes played (33).
• She has started all 14 games since then, and is averaging 4.7 points per game.
• The freshman scored in double figures in three of her last seven games, with a career-high 16 points at Calumet St. Joseph.
• The South Holland, Ill. native was the Trojans' lone player in double-figures at Indiana-Northwest on Saturday, collecting 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting, and a 3-for-5 perfromance from three-point range.
• Miree set a career high with five assists last weekend in the Trojans' loss to St. Xavier.

#33 • Bri'ana Rowland
• Rowland has made 22 appearances off the bench for TIU this season, and is averaging 3.3 points per game.
• The sophomore has scored six or more points in six of her last ten games, and set a season high with nine points against St. Xavier last Saturday.
• Last week, the Round Rock, Tex. native posted averages of 5.7 points and 3.3 rebounds during TIU's three games.

#50 • Rachel Carter
• One of the Trojans primary post option off the bench, Carter has appeared in 24 of 25 games during her freshman campaign, averaging 3.2 points per game over 13.5 minutes of playing time.
• The Murfreesboro, Tenn. native set a career high with 14 points at Calumet St. Joseph on Jan. 29, for her first game in double-figures.
• Since the Jan. 18 matchup at Purdue-Calumet, Carter has averaged 5.7 points per game.
• Carter has recorded at least four points in eight of her last nine games, and at least four rebounds in seven of her last 11 games.

#10 • Daja Johnson
• Johnson moved into the starting lineup on Dec. 3 against Ashford, and has made 12 starts overall this season, before moving back to the bench during the Trojans' last five games.
• The junior is averaging 2.3 points on the year, and has recorded a career-high six points twice, at Roosevelt on Nov. 20, and again in the win over Ashford on Dec. 3.
• She picked up a pair of career highs on Jan. 22, recording eight rebounds and six steals on the night against Olivet Nazarene.
• Johnson has just four points over her last five games, and was held scoreless in her last three of her last four appearances.

#32 • Kiana Rowland
• Rowland has worked her way into the starting lineup in the past five games, playing an average of 12.4 minutes per start.
• The sister of Bri'ana, Kiana is averaging 1.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
• The Round Rock, Tex. native set career highs with nine points and nine rebounds against Olivet Nazarene on Jan. 12.
• Rowland collected five points at Judson on Wednesday, going 1-for-2 from the field, and 3-for-5 from the free throw line.

Scouting the Opponents
Robert Morris
• The Eagles are 2-2 over their last four games, and currently sit 4th in the CCAC North Division with a 9-7 conference record.
• RMU averages 78.5 points per game, ranking 5th in the CCAC. The Eagles have the 12th-ranked defense in the conference, allowing 79.2 points per game.
• Tikeyiah Johnson leads the team with 18.4 points per game, good for 5th on the CCAC scoring list, and 22nd in NAIA-II
• Junior Yolanda De La Torre ranks 5th in NAIA-II, and 2nd in the CCAC, with an average of 10.7 rebounds per game.
• The Eagles have taken five straight meetings over the Trojans, and lead the overall series since 2003, 5-2
• Robert Morris took a 77-70 win over the Trojans back on Dec. 21 in Deerfield. Clarissa Woodard led TIU with 28 points and 10 rebounds on the night.

St. Francis
• The Saints have lost six straight games and 18 of their last 21 coming into play this week.
• St. Francis averages 65.8 points per game, ranking 11th in the CCAC. On the defensive end, USF allows 74.7 points per game, good for 10th in the league.
• Junior Katie Gonnering leads the team with 21.1 points per game, ranking 2nd on the CCAC scoring list, and 8th in NAIA-II
• Gonnering is also the team's leading rebounder, averaging 10.2 rebounds each night, good for 3rd in the conference. She also ranks 13th in NAIA-II, and is one of three players in the CCAC to average a double-double this season.
• The Saints have won five of the eight meetings over the Trojans since 2003.
• In their last meeting, TIU earned a home win over St. Francis on Feb. 2 last season.
