Just two Trojans record hits on the day, as the #7 Tigers go on to take both games.

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WHEELING, Ill. -- In their first matchup against a nationally-ranked foe, the Trinity International Trojans had a rough day both at the plate and in the field, falling to the No. 7 Olivet Nazarene Tigers 30-0 in game one of a doubleheader Thursday afternoon, followed by an 18-0 result in game two.

The Trojans (0-14, 0-8 CCAC) recorded one hit in each game, as Samantha Payne recorded a double in the second inning of the opener, while Ashley O'Brien knocked a single in the fourth inning of the nightcap. In the field, TIU allowed a combined ten unearned runs in both games thanks in part to seven errors on the day.

Trinity International will hit the diamond again on Friday, when they travel to Chicago and take on No. 11 St. Xavier in a doubleheader set for 3:00 p.m. The Trojans then return home to face Purdue-North Central on Saturday, in the first home game played on campus this season. First pitch against the Peregrines is set for 11:00 a.m.
