Men's Soccer drops matchup at Moody Bible

Zach Reget scored his third goal of the year to take over the team lead, but TIU suffered a 2-1 loss on the road at Moody Bible on Tuesday afternoon.
Box Score | Season StatsThe three-time defending NCCAA Division II national champions managed two goals, one each in the opening minutes of the first and second halves, before the Trojans answered with Reget's goal in the 60th minute. TIU fired 15 shots throughout the match, but Moody goalkeeper Kenny McBride made six saves in the first half to keep the Trojans off the scoreboard before the break.
Reget took a match-high seven shots while playing all 90 minutes. His goal came unassisted on a powerful shot to bring the Trojans to within a single goal with 30 minutes to play, but TIU was unable to find the equalizer.

The Trojans will quickly return home for their final non-conference match of the season on Thursday. TIU hosts NCAA Division III foe Iowa Wesleyan on September 18, with kickoff at Schartner Field scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
