Men's Soccer defeats shorthanded Iowa Wesleyan side
Box Score DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Playing against a team down to nine men for all 90 minutes, Trinity International men's soccer collected 16 goals in a 16-0 win over the Iowa Wesleyan Tigers.

Zach Reget, Wes Ditchfield, Andrew Pierce), while four players (
Sean Tlapek,, Pierce,

Joseph Sanborn) scored their first career goals.
Freshman
Brad Stough started in goal for the Trojans, and earned his first shutout of the year.
For Iowa Wesleyan, Jose Gutierrez took a team-high four shots in the match. Despite being outnumbered, IWC goalkeeper Mitchell Schneider put in a strong performance, snuffing out multiple TIU runs and making 22 saves overall.
The Trojans will take the weekend off before beginning conference play next Wednesday, September 24. TIU will travel to Judson and take on the Eagles in a match beginning at 4:00 p.m.
