SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Trinity International's top two scorers led the way again Wednesday night, as
JaToya Woods and
Basha Ramsey combined for more than half of the Trojans total offense, but a cold shooting performance and a big rebounding margin in favor of their opponents resulted in a 68-43 loss at the hands of the Indiana-South Bend Titans. Woods led the Trojans with 17 points, shooting 6-for-19 from the field. The loss snaps a two-game win streak for TIU in their first road trip after collecting a pair of victories at home over Christmas break.

The Titans lead stretched to as much as 17 in the first half, before a layup from Woods with a little over 90 seconds before the break made it a 31-16 halftime score. IUSB had eight second-chance points in the first half, while shutting out TIU in the same category, outrebounding the Trojans 27-16 in the first half.

IUSB scored the first ten points of the second half, stretching their lead to 41-16 with 16:18 to play. Woods contributed a team-high nine points after the halftime break for TIU, but the Trojans were unable to cut into the deficit the rest of the way.

Ramsey scored 12 points on the night, coming up two rebounds short of a double-double with eight boards.

The Trojans return home this weekend, when they host the No. 9 Purdue-Calumet Peregrines in CCAC action. Tipoff from Van Dixhorn Arena is set for 1:00 p.m.
