DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Matching her career high for the second time in her last three games, junior

Amari Parham with 6:42 remaining pulled the Trojans to within three points, 42-39, but Parham's score would be the last field goal in the game for TIU. Embry-Riddle went on to outscore the Trojans 13-3 from that point to close out the game.
The Trojans led briefly, as freshman Abbey Burnas scored the game's first field goal to put TIU in front 2-0 in the opening minute. The Eagles responded with four straight points, however to move in front where they would lead the rest of the day.
TIU would stay within single-digits throughout much of the first half, until a 10-0 from Embry-Riddle stretched their advantage to 24-11 at the 2:12 mark of the first half. The Ealges held a 24-13 halftime lead, as Woods led TIU with six points at the break.
Trinity climbed their way back into the game, using a 16-4 run to make it a one-point deficit, 38-37 with 9:11 remaining. TIU couldn't quite get over the hump, as the Eagles scored the next four points to pad their lead, and the Trojans finished with just four more points the rest of the way.
Woods shot 4-of-16 from the field on the day, but added in a 15-for-24 performance from the free-throw line, setting a new NAIA high this season in free throw attempts.
Parham collected eight points as the team's second-leading scorer.
Basha Ramsey pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.
The Trojans return home this week after the long road trip; Trinity hosts Crossroads (Minn.) on Thursday, January 8. Tipoff against the Knights is set for 6:00 p.m.
