DEERFIELD, Ill. - Trinity International scored an early goal, but a second-half answer from the visiting St. Ambrose Bees was enough to result in a 1-1 draw against the Trojans, Saturday afternoon at Schartner Field.

Jillian Kolster got Trinity on the board in the seventh minute, scoring her fourth goal of the season to put the Trojans ahead 1-0 early on. TIU had a pair of shots on-target over the final 15 minutes of the half, but both were saved by SAU's Nicole Staines to keep it a one-goal game.
Just seven minutes into the second half, St. Ambrose tied the match on their first shot of the match, in the 53rd minute. Kaelin Trippe found the back of the net for what would prove to be the final goal of the day.

McKenzie Chappell made three saves in the draw, while
Samantha Yasatan and
Morgan Elzinga each recorded a team-high two shots. Yasatan had two shots on goal to lead all players in the match.
The Trojans will now hit the road for their next match, as TIU faces Holy Cross in a CCAC battle. Kickoff from South Bend, Ind. is set for Wednesday, October 21, at 3:00 p.m. Central.
