WHITING, Ind. - A defensive battle was decided by a single goal in the second half, as Trinity International took a 1-0 loss on the road to the Calumet St. Joseph Crimson Wave on Wednesday night.

A 61st-minute strike from the home side proved to be the difference, when CCSJ's Joaquin Peluffo found the back of the net. Trinity (9-7-1, 4-6-1 CCAC) generated six shots throughout the match, but none were on target.

Goalkeeper Jared Yonke finished with five saves on the night, facing a total of 15 shots from the Crimson Wave attack. Offensively, the Trojans were led by Francesco De Felice, who took three shots atfter coming on as a sub. 

The Trojans return home this weekend, when they face the Olivet Nazarene Tigers on Senior Day. Kickoff from Schartner Field is set for 2:30 p.m.
