DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Four Trojans finished in double figures, led by senior
Justin Peeples' 18 points, but a big second-half run from the visitors dealt Trinity International an 81-72 loss to the Judson Eagles on Wednesday night inside Van Dixhorn Arena.

Nate Ball picked up his sixth double-double of the year, with 11 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Senior
Sam Salem recorded 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting, including a 3-for-4 performance from the three-point line. Sophomore
Thomas Amrine knocked down four threes while finishing with 14 points.
After an early 3-0 lead for TIU after a
David Chatman putback in the first minute of play, Judson used back-to-back three-pointers to take a lead they would hold nearly the entire half half. The Eagles would go up by as much as nine points before the break, on a Drew Makiewicz trey at the 12:20 mark.
The Trojans would battle back, however, tying the game four times in the first half before briefly claiming a 33-32 lead on a free throw from Ball, with 2:07 to play until the break. Judson would score five straight to hold a 37-33 edge at the half.
Trinity would again fight their way to a tie ballgame, after Salem's three-pointer with 17:56 evened the score at 40-40. The Trojans would go cold for the next 5:13, however, as Judson used that span to mount a 13-0 run to take a 53-40 advantage.
Ball would bring TIU to within five with another trip to the free throw line with about two and a half minutes to play, 69-64. Judson answered with a pair of scores, then hit their free throws down the stretch to keep the Trojans from securing the season sweep over the Eagles.
With the loss, Trinity International drops to 7-9 in CCAC play, but are still in the driver's seat for a spot in the upcoming CCAC Tournament. The Trojans can punch their ticket to the postseason with either a win in their final three games, or a loss from Calumet St. Joseph in any of their remaining matchups.
The Trojans are back in action this Saturday, when they travel to St. Xavier for a weekend matchup. Tipoff from Chicago is set for 3:00 p.m.
