DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Playing on their true home field for the first time in 2015, Trinity International held their opponents off the scoreboard early, but ultimately fell in both ends of a doubleheader to Olivet Nazarene, 7-1 in the opener, and 14-0 in game two.

Breanna Hansen faced the minimum over the first three innings, and allowed just two base hits through the 5th, but the Tigers took advantage of a pair of throwing errors on back-to-back plays, leading to a three-run rally for ONU, and a 3-0 edge. Olivet would tack on three more in the top of the 6th, and another in the 7th, before the Trojans got on the board with a two-out rally in the bottom of the 7th.

Emily Doomis then drove in the lone RBI for the Trojans, smacking a double to left center.
Valerie D'Ambrosio followed up with an infield single, but the game ended on a play at the plate as the Trojans looked to get back into the game.
In game two, the Tigers jumped out to an early lead after scoring four runs on four hits in the top of the 1st. ONU would then add two runs in the 2nd, and four more in the 3rd, on their way to a five-inning win. ONU's Maggie Tidrow allowed just two hits to the Trojans, as
Ashley O'Brien and
Jamie Stanton both collected singles.
The Trojans will hit the road this Thursday afternoon, for a CCAC doubleheader against Judson. First pitch against the Eagles from Elgin, Ill. is set for 3:00 p.m.
