JOLIET, Ill. - Trinity International struggled to maintain a consistent attack, as the host St. Francis Saints out-shot the Trojans in a 2-0 road loss for TIU on Saturday evening.

USF's Alex Truhlar put the home team in front with her goal in the 23rd minute, on a free kick from 35-yards out. The Trojans (3-7, 2-2 CCAC) generated just two shots in the first half, with one shot on goal.
After the halftime break, Trinity developed a number of good scoring opportunities, but were unable to find the equalizer. St. Francis (5-3-1, 4-1 CCAC) put the match away with their second goal of the night, coming with just 37 seconds remaining in regulation.
Isabelle Danner led the Trojans with four shots on the night, while
Jillian Kolster fired a team-high two shots on goal. Junior goalkeeper
Surina Lewandowski finished with a career-high 12 saves.
Trinity will now prepare for a Tuesday afternoon match at Judson; kickoff against the Eagles is set for 3:00 p.m.
