SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Trinity International held a second-half lead, but a fourth-quarter rally from the host Indiana-South Bend Titans forced overtime, where the Trojans ultimately fell on Saturday afternoon, 61-57.

Junior guard
Tashyra Burrough led the Trojans (6-16, 2-13 CCAC) with 13 points, while Nika Bracun finished in double figures with 10.Â
A close opening quarter saw two early lead changes, and four quick points from
Marlou Peters and
Sarina Falvo would tie the game at 14-14 with 1:28 on the clock. Indiana-South Bend would finish the first with five straight points to take a 19-14 lead going into the second period. The Titans would lead by as much as seven in the first half, but a 13-3 run for Trinity, highlighted by seven points from Burrough, gave TIU a 30-29 halftime lead.
The Trojans scored the first six points of the third quarter, with
Nika Bracun closing out the period with a three-pointer, giving Trinity a 41-35 lead going into the final ten minutes.
A 12-3 run for the Titans to begin the fourth gave South Bend their first lead since the first quarter, 47-44 with 4:04 to play. Bracun would hit three free throws over the final two minutes, and
Basha Ramsey would put the Trojans back in front 51-49 with :37 seconds left, but IUSB's Lucy Presnal tied the game with juts five seconds to play, forcing overtime.
The Titans opened the extra session with a 6-2 run to lead 57-53 at the 1:58 mark.
Brookelyn Robertson would score on the next possession to but the deficit down to two, but the Trojans were unable to pull even over the closing seconds.
Falvo and Peters finished with seven rebounds each to lead TIU, while senior guard
Arielle Miree recorded a team-high four assists.
The Trojans will now prepare for another road trip, on Wednesday, Feb. 1, when TIU will take on Judson beginning at 5:30 p.m.
