DEERFIELD, Ill. - Senior guard

Box Score
The Trojans (4-10, 1-7 CCAC) would score the game's first 11 points, including five from senior forward
Basha Ramsey, over the opening four minutes of play. The team would lead wire-to-wire in the first half, going up by nine at the end of the first period with one of Ross' three-pointers in the final seconds. St. Ambrose (6-9, 2-5 CCAC) would finish the second period on a 7-0 run, but Trinity would still hold on for the 30-28 halftime advantage.
Trinity seemed to have things back under control when
Brookelyn Robertson scored at the 5:56 mark of the third quarter, increasing the Trojan lead to 36-29, but the Bees would respond by taking their first lead of the day on a Brette Logic three-pointer with 2:36 left in the period, in the midst of a 14-5 run to close out the third.
Five straight points from Robertson to open the fourth put Trinity back in front 46-43, with 9:14 remaining. When St. Ambrose edged back in front again,
Sarina Falvo would give the lead back to the Trojans with a three-pointer at the 6:37 mark, 49-47. Over the next five minutes the TIU offense would go cold however, opening the door for a run of 13 unanswered points for the visitors, putting the game nearly out of reach.
Falvo finished the night with 14 points, thanks in part to a 7-of-8 performance from the free throw line. Robertson collected nine points off the bench, in just 12 minutes of play, going 4-of-8 from the field.
The Trojans turn their attention to Thursday night, when they travel north to face the Cardinal Stritch Wolves. Tipoff on January 5 is set for 5:30 p.m.
