Women's Soccer cruise in 7-0 win over Roosevelt University

DEERFIELD, Ill. - Winning their third CCAC match of the season the TIU Women's Soccer team cruised to a 7-0 win over Roosevelt University on Tuesday afternoon.

The Trojans scored early and often on Tuesday, putting away two of their season high seven goals in the opening four minutes of the match. Makena Walker and Kylie Bowman each found the back of the net to put the Trojans up 2-0 early.

TIU would add three more goals in the final 40 minutes of the first half before scoring two more in the second half to close out a 7-0 victory. Bowman, Jillian Kolster, Heather Ortiz, Cameron Hunter, and Tori Padal all scored for TIU in yet another convincing win.

The Lady Trojans are back in action this Saturday as they travel to Joliet to take on the University of St. Francis at 5 PM.
