ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - It was another solid performance for the TIU Volleyball team who picked up their fifth CCAC win of the season after a 3-0 defeat of Robert Morris on Tuesday evening.
The Trojans were a model fo consistency all night long, opening the match with a 25-19 1st set victory before closing things out with 25-18, and 25-19 second and third set wins.
Brianna Torres once again was a catalyst for the Trojans both offensively and defensively. The Freshman posted yet another double-double, finishing the night with 11 kills and 13 digs.
Matty Hawkins had a solid night as well for TIU tallying 7 kills and closing the night out with a .462 attack percentage.
The Trojans will return to action this weekend when they return home to host the first CCAC Crossover tournament of the year on Friday and Saturday.
