DEERFIELD, Ill. - On a day dedicated to the 2018 Senior Class the TIU Men's Soccer team came up short in their efforts to pick up their second CCAC win of the season, suffering a 5-0 defeat to Robert Morris University on Tuesday afternoon.
The Eagles got off to a fast start early in the first half, scoring 4 goals inside of the first 35 minutes of the game.
The Trojans had their opportunities in the second half, eventually outshooting the Eagles 14-11, but the quick start from RMU was too much to overcome.
Aaron Gerdes made the start in net for TIU, and made 5 saves on the afternoon.
The Trojans will look to finish the season on a high note when they travel to Bourbonnais to take on #25 Olivet Nazarene University on Saturday.
