PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. - In their third matchup with TCC this season the TIU Women's Soccer team saw their season come to an end with a 1-0 loss to the Trolls on Saturday afternoon.

On a cold and snowy day neither was really able to muster up any offense through the majority of the game. The Trolls finished regulation outshooting the Trojans 11-8 before the game shifted to overtime for the second time this season.

In the opening overtime period the Trojans had their opportunities but it was the Trolls who capitalized first. A long shot from well outside the box found its way into the back of the net that sealed a 1-0 win for TIU.

The Trojans season comes to an end with an 11-7-3 record, good enough for TIU's sixth 10 win season in the last seven years.
