DEERFIELD, Ill. - Looking to cap off the 2018-19 season with a victory, the TIU Women's Basketball struggled to keep up with the high powered offense of Olivet Nazarene, suffering a 86-51 loss to the Tigers on Saturday afternoon.

Kylee Daniels and
Jendayi Campbell played their final game inside the Van Dixhorn arena, with Daniels finishing the game with 9 points while Campbell added 3 points of her own while grabbing 9 rebounds to lead the team.
The Trojans opened the game with a solid performance in the opening quarter, keeping pace with the Tigers through the opening 10 minutes. The Trojans led in the early going of the quarter, and traded buckets with ONU down the stretch.
Bridgette Smith came off the bench for TIU to register a team high 15 points with 10 of them coming in the first half.
After trailing 44-31 heading into the second half the Trojans' shooting struggles returned as the Tigers continued to knock down shots. The Trojans would muster only 20 points in the second half while ONU added 42 points in the final 20 minutes to close out a 86-51 victory over TIU.
The Lady Trojans will now turn to the offseason and look to rebuild and come back stronger in the upcoming 2019-20 season thisfall.
