After an exciting comeback during their last game to continue their winning ways, Trinity hoped to continue the streak but an emotionally charged senior night for the Redhawks rallied the home team to victory, 78-77. The Redhawks opened play with a couple of dunks before Trinity took the lead 8-6 after a 3-pointer by Jack Kahoun. Six minutes passed and the Trojans widened the gap to 24-13 before a Redhawks timeout to try and regain control of the game. Out of the break, IUN hit a jumper and tried to swing momentum but the Trojans answered with a 12-4 run on the scoreboard. With a little more than five minutes left on the clock, the Redhawks began mounting another attack and brought the score deficit to single digits. As the clock wound down, the Redhawks sank the final seven points and closed the half with the Trojans leading 46-38. In the first eight minutes of the second half, the Redhawks continued their push to catch Trinity and came within a single point twice before finally tying the score 55-55. Over the course of the next ten minutes, the score would be tied and broken five times. The final tied score broke at 74-74 with less than two minutes remaining after a layup by Diamond Presniakovas.
