2018 (Sophomore)
Justin participated in 6 collegiate meets as a sophomore...his first meet was the Elmhurst Earlybird Invite on August 31, 2018, with a finishing time of 24:08.3 over a 6K course… he crossed the line at the Gil Dodd Invitational in 30:22… he challenged the competition at the Warrior Invite with a finishing time of 30:06, placing 30th… completed the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge with a finishing time of 29:15 (5:53 average mile pace)...closing the season with an impressive 28:37, placing 48th at the CCAC Championships in Davenport, Iowa. This established an overall personal record for the Sophomore athlete.
2017 (Freshman)
Raced in 4 out of 5 meets as a freshman... made his collegiate debut at the Forester Invitational, hosted by Lake Forest College on Sept. 15 to place 44th overall with an overall time of 32.22 ... ran a 30:14 at the Warrior Invitational, hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran, to finish 67th overall on Sept. 30 ... posted a season’s best time of 28:50.60 to finish 117th overall at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge, hosted by Aquinas (Mich.) on Oct. 21 ... completed a 29:27 at the CCAC Championships, hosted by Judson on Nov. 4.
