Shayla participated in 4 collegiate meets as a sophomore...her first meet of the 2018 season was at the Elmhurst Earlybird Invite on August 31, 2018, with a finishing time of 18:32.2 over a 4K course… crossed the line at the Gil Dodd Invitational in 28:33… she completed the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge with a season-best time of 24:18 ...closing the season with a finishing time of 24:20 at the CCAC Championships in Davenport, Iowa.
