2012: Made 28 appearances, and started 15 of 39 games for the Trojans … hit .227, with three doubles and four RBI on the season … posted a .404 on-base percentage, drawing 12 walks, second-most on the team … stole two bases on two attempts … two multi-hit games on the year … went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in a 7-4 win at Roosevelt on Apr. 13 … went 2-for-3 in a 7-5 loss to St. Francis on Apr. 25, hitting a pair of doubles and driving in one RBI.

2011: Played in 28 games, hitting .059 (1-17), but scored nine runs on the year … stole three bases on four attempts … got his first collegiate base hit against Purdue-North Central on Apr. 21, in a 2-1 extra-innings loss … drove in his first collegiate RBI on a sac fly at Holy Cross on Apr. 5, in a 13-1 win over the Saints.

In High School: Three-year letterwinner for Taft HS … named to the All-Jackie Robinson North Conference Team as a senior in 2010 … helped lead Taft HS to a Jackie Robinson North Conference championship and IHSA Class 4A Regional title during junior season in 2009 … reached the Chicago Public Schools Citywide Tournament semifinals as a junior and senior, finishing as the tournament runners-up in 2010.

Why TIU?: “I decided to come to TIU because I wanted to play baseball at a school close to home. I also enjoyed the Christian focus of the school and genuine people and professors I met. TIU provided a unique blend of faith, sports, and academics that I had not seen elsewhere.”
