TIU Baseball Field

TIU Baseball Field

The home of Trojan baseball since 1971, the TIU Baseball Field maximizes the ideal on-campus diamond, just steps away from the Meyers Sports Complex building.

With a dirt infield and grass outfield, the field includes bullpens installed along the baselines, as well as ground level dugouts. Most recently, the outfield fence was improved with a blue windshield, helping better define the outfield boundaries. A new brick backstop was also installed in the fall of 2020, eliminating several feet of foul territory behind home plate, as were new safety nets behind the plate. The foul poles in left and right field measure both  315 feet from home plate, while dead center field measures 385 feet.

Since their first season, the Trojans have won 288 games while calling the TIU Baseball Field home. The program has seen ten NCCAA All-Americans, 16 NCCAA All-Region and 24 All-Conference players play at the facility.

The Trojan baseball team has put together a number of quality seasons on the diamond, including four NCCAA World Series appearances in 1998, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
