TIU Softball Field

TIU Softball Field

Located on the east side of the Meyer Sports Complex, the TIU Softball Field has been the home of the Trojan softball program since its inception in 1974 to 2014, and again beginning in 2021.

After playing their home games in Wheeling for the past four seasons, the TIU Softball Field has undergone a recent restoration to improve the facility, including a restored infield, new bleacher foundations, and new outfield fence windshields.

The Trojans have won 189 games at the facility since 1974, and have played some of their most memorable seasons on the field, including the 2006 CCAC Tournament runners-up team, and the historic 2007 season which saw TIU qualify for the NCCAA World Series for the first time in program history.
