Andrew Grotelueschen joined the TIU baseball staff in 2015, after a successful four-year career as a Trojan. A former second baseman and shortstop, Grotelueschen is responsible for working with the team's infielders.
During his playing career, Grotelueschen started no fewer than 30 games each year, finishing with a career .283 batting average. Recognized for his work in the classroom, Grotelueschen was twice named to the CCAC All-Academic Team, and as a senior was named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. In 2015 Grotelueschen was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, as the first player in program history to receive the award, honoring both on-field and academic success.
