Tanner Hill joined the TIU baseball coaching staff for the 2021 season after previously serving on the staff at Hiwassee College (TN) with head coach Shane Gardner. 

As a player, Hill played at Hiwassee for four years and was a member of the Tiger's 2016 NCCAA World Series team. A native of Powell, Tennesee, Hill is also a professional wrestler in his free time.
