Trinity International University

Ernest (EJ) Duplessis joined the Trinity International University football coaching staff in 2021 as the assistant wide receivers coach. A former TIU wideout himself, Duplessis played four seasons for the Trojans from 2005-2008. During his senior year, he led the Trojans in receiving touchdowns.

Coach Duplessis is from Virginia, where he graduated with honors from Salem High School. After high school, he attended Old Dominion University as a preferred walk on for basketball, before being ecruited instead to play football at TIU.  After receiving his degree in Communications, Duplessis joined the Navy and attained the rank of Chief after a decade of service. He looks forward to a new and different challenge as Wide Receivers Coach at TIU.
