Madairick Harris joined the TIU football staff in August of 2021, serving as an assistant coach for the defensive line.

A former Trojan himself, Harris played for Trinity in 1989 and 1990 as part of head coach Leslie Frazier’s second and third teams in program history. Harris would go on to coach one season as an assistant under Gary Barnett at Northwestern University in 1997 before later joining the police force and opening his own personal training business.

A four-time semi-professional champion in the Chicago Football League, Harris also served in the United States Army. Coach Harris is also resuming his studies towards a degree in sports and wellness management from TIU while coaching.
