Vasher joins the Trinity International coaching staff for his first season in 2017, working with the Trojan cornerbacks.
Vasher comes to Trinity as an assistant after an All-Pro career with the Chicago Bears. Drafted by the Bears in 2004, Vasher played six years in Chicago before retiring in 2010. Since then, he was worked the coaching staffs at his alma mater of Texas, as well as the Bears staff last season.
During his playing career, Vasher tallied 20 interceptions, with at least one pick in each of his seven seasons. He was selected to play in the Pro Bowl in 2005, and the following season was a starter for the Bears in Super Bowl XLI, making six tackles in the game.
