Chase participated in 7 collegiate meets as a sophomore...his first meet of the 2018 season was the Elmhurst Earlybird Invite on August 31, 2018, with a finishing time of 21:19.1 over a 6K course… crossed the line at the Gil Dodd Invitational in 28:57… he challenged the competition at the Warrior Invite with a finishing time of 29:00, placing 17th… completed the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge with a finishing time of 28:30 (5:44 average mile)...closing the season with an overall personal best time of 27:40, placing 39th at the CCAC Championships in Davenport, Iowa...This race qualified him to compete in the NCCAA national meet...Chase represented the Trojan blue with a finishing time of 28:18.65, placing 31st of 71 total runners in the NCCAA DI field on November 10, 2018.
2017 (Freshman)
Raced in 4 out of 5 meets as a freshman... made his collegiate debut at the Forester Invitational, hosted by Lake Forest College on Sept. 15 to place 37th overall with an overall time of 31:28.4 ... ran a 30:12 at the Warrior Invitational, hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran, to finish 66th overall on Sept. 30 ... posted a season’s best time of 28:33.13 to finish 110th overall at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge, hosted by Aquinas (Mich.) on Oct. 21 ... completed a 29:09 at the CCAC Championships, hosted by Judson on Nov. 4.
