Trinity International University

The Cross Country season of 2019-2020 will be Daniel Durband’s third year coaching the TIU Men’s and Women’s Cross Country team.  Under Daniel’s leadership, the team continues to grow in the number of runners as well as the accomplishments completed by the athletes. 

Daniel is a 2015 graduate of Trinity International University, Deerfield, IL. He graduated with a Business Major with an emphasis in Management and Organizational Leadership.   He currently is pursuing a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Leadership at Judson University in Elgin, IL. This education has provided him with a strong foundation for training athletes.

While at TIU, Daniel was the captain of the Cross-Country team. He represented Trinity International University at NCCAA Championship on multiple occasions.  Daniel was a key component in the Men’s Cross-Country being nominated for NAIA Scholar Team of the Year in 2014. Daniel has been running most his life on teams not only setting the pace for other runners but also leading other runners through discipline, skill and encouragement.

Daniel was born in Barrington, Illinois and raised at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, IL.  He is currently living in Deerfield, IL.
