Airrion Blackstock joined the TIU men's soccer coaching staff in 2019 as a graduate assistant, coming right off the back of a his collegiate playing career., before being promoted to assistant coach ahead of the 2021 season. He has worked as coach in various soccer camps, including at the Seattle Sounders, Mercer University, and Tormenta FC, but is joining Trinity International for his first full coaching position.
Blackstock is a 2018 graduate of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. He was a four-year member of the Mercer University men's soccer team, captaining the team to a second straight NCAA Division I tournament berth in his senior season. He also played PDL in the summers for the Seattle Sounders U23 and Tormenta FC.
Blackstock was born in Fairfax, Virginia and raised in Georgia for the majority of his life.
