Played in eight matches, while starting in three ... played 19 minutes as a sub in the season-opener against Spring Arbor (Mich.) on Aug. 21 ... started his first match of the season at Bethel (Ind.) on Aug. 26 ... started and fired his first career shot on goal in the win over Iowa Wesleyan on Sept. 18 ... played a season-high 58 minutes as a started against St. Francis on Nov. 1.

High School: Azuri Competitive league team captain Senior year. Sutter Union High School Captain and Butte View League All league selection.

Major: Athletic Training

Personal: Son of David and Julaine Wright, siblings Stephanie, Tomas and Brandon. In the summer of 2011 he served on a missions trip to Costa Rica with the soccer team, and from 2009 to 2011 has served at his church in various forms including small group leader and high school youth group volunteer. Nick has also spent time volunteering at Mount Hermon Family Camp in Satna Cruz, CA and at Women's Friend Banquet cooking and serving food. He currently leads a small group at TIU for his floor in his dorm as well.

Why TIU?: "I play for TIU because I love being on this team. We are a group of guys from all over the country coming together as a family to play this sport of soccer. I know that every practice and every game that the guy next to me is going to give 100% and he knows that I'm going to give 100% and we hold each other accountable to give nothing less than our best every day. Also this is a program where soccer is not the only ultimatum, we are a program that is focused on making us better men as well as better soccer players and for that I am extremely thankful to our players and coaching staff."
