2014 (Junior)
 

Played in all 18 matches as a junior, starting in three matches ... finished third on the team with 11 points, and tied for second with four goals on the season ... made his first collegiate start at the season-opener against Spring Arbor (Mich.), taking one shot and playing a total of 61 minutes ... scored two goals, including the game-winner against Lakeland (Wisc.) on Sept. 5 ... had a shot on goal at St. Ambrose (Iowa) on Sept. 12 ... had one goal and three assists in the win over Iowa Wesleyan on Sept. 18 ... scored the team's lone goal against St. Francis on Nov. 1.


2013 (Sophomore)

Appeared in all 17 matches on the year, tallying three points on the year ... had one goal and one assist throughout the season ... scored his lone goal on the year at Trevecca Nazarene, in a 3-2 overtime defeat on Sept. 13 ... collected an assist on the following night, helping with the game-tying goal in a 1-1 draw against Cumberland (Tenn.) ... took four shots on the year, with two shots on goal.

High School: All Conference and team captain for Senior year of High School at Westminster Christian. Senior year he was the assist leader and broke his school record for assists in a season.

Personal: Son of Jim and Chris Hoeflich, siblings Angie, Bethany, and Abby Hoeflich. Steven has volunteered at food pantries during the summers and currently serves at a church youth group called EDGE in Libertyville where he leads worship and a small group. Steven also served with TIU Soccer in Costa Rica in 2011.
