Trinity International University

Martinez, a native of West Covina, California, comes to TIU as she finishes her masters degree at Colorado State University Pueblo where she also served as a graduate assistant coach to their softball program. As graduate assistant, Martinez provided support and assistance to the head coach through field maintenance, organizing and implementing practice plans as well as helped to build and maintain team culture through character development and relational intentionality.

Prior to beginning her masters degree, Martinez completed her undergraduate in Educational Studies at Cardinal Stritch University in 2021 while competing in the softball program as an outfielder and first baseman. 

Within the Trojan staff, her primary responsibilities will be working with the outfield, hitting, and assisting with recruiting endeavors.

Upon being hired, Martinez states “I’m excited to start this new journey at TIU and continue to grow and develop as a coach.”
