In High School: Two-time DODDS All-European Team selection, including First Team honors as a senior while playing for Ramstein American HS in Ramstein, Germany … earned Cook Inlet Athletic Conference Honorable Mention honors as a sophomore at Eagle River HS in Eagle River, Alaska … played two years of varsity football in Germany … earned Scholar Athlete of the Year award during senior season at Ramstein American HS … helped lead his team to second-place finishes in the DODDS Division I Conference during junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Father Paul Grotelueschen is head coach of the TIU baseball program, starting in 2014 ... older brother Paul Grotelueschen played baseball at Trinity International for four seasons ... younger brother Jon Grotelueschen is currently on the team.
