In 2012: Played in 29 matches, averaging 1.46 kills per set with a .194 hitting percentage … the Trojans’ second-leading blocker, averaging 0.5 blocks per set, including 47 total blocks … season-high 12 kills against Ashford (Iowa) on Oct. 13 … posted double-digit kills twice on the season, including a 10-kill performance against Rochester (Mich.) on Oct. 19 … season-high five total blocks in two matches, against Illinois Tech on Sept. 18, and Siena Heights (Mich.) on Oct. 20.
In 2011: Averaged 1.63 kills per set while hitting for a .217 average on the year … recorded a career-high 14 kills in the win over Rochester (Mich.) on Oct. 28 … the fourth-leading blocker on the team, totaling 26 total blocks and 0.43 blocks per set.
In 2010: Appeared in 19 sets as a freshman, averaging 0.47 kills per set and a .160 hitting percentage.
Major: Psychology
Why TIU?: “I wanted to come to TIU because of the integrative teaching of Christianity into everyday topics. TIU not only prepares me well for my future career, but also gives insight on how to be a Christian in a secular work environment. The academics are an exciting challenge, and the atmosphere of the campus is not like any other. After considering all this, there was no other choice than TIU. I get all of this and still have the opportunity to play volleyball.”
