Danielle Moritz joined the women's soccer coaching staff at Trinity in 2016.

Moritz joined the Trojans staff after one year as an assistant coach at her alma mater Houghton (N.Y.) College, where she graduated from in 2015.

As a four-year player at Houghton, Moritz was a member of the program's NAIA Tournament qualifying team in 2011, as well as three consecutive NCCAA Tournament teams, which included a semifinal run in 2014.

Moritz helped lead the Highlanders to a 16-6-2 overall record, as Houghton claimed its first-ever NCCAA national championship in 2015, allowing just one goal over six matches throughout their NCCAA Tournament run.

During her collegiate years, Moritz gained coaching experience while serving on two international sports ministry mission trips to Brazil; the first being with the women's soccer team at Houghton, and the second as a member of the Chicago Eagles Summer Academy. In May of 2016, she traveled to Austria and Romania on a second trip with the soccer team at Houghton as the assistant coach.

Moritz now lives in the area with her husband, Benjamin.
