Zach Reget shot a match-high four shots on goal, and five shots overall. Cardinal Stritch outshot the Trojans 16-11, but TIU held posession in the second half, looking to get on the board, taking eight shots after the break to the Wolves' four.
Cardinal Stritch took the lead in the 15th minute, when CSU's Josh Roberts scored the first goal of the night. The Trojans and Wolves played even throughout the rest of the first half, but in the 66th minute, Stritch increased their lead to 2-0 with Noki Le's goal.
The Trojans return home next weekend, when Trinity International will play host to CCAC leaders Roosevelt. Kickoff against the Lakers is set for Saturday, October 25, at 2:00 p.m.
