GLENDALE, Wisc. -- Two goals in the first seven minutes was more than enough for Trinity International, as the Trojans earned a 2-0 win Saturday night at Cardinal Stritch. The win moves TIU into third place in the CCAC standings with four matches remaining, while the Trojan defense earns its second straight shutout, and the fourth shutout of the season.

Samantha Yasatan scored her CCAC-leading 21st goal of the season, assisted by Loretto, to put the Trojans ahead 2-0. Yasatan goal marks the tenth match of the year where the reigning NAIA National Player of the Week has scored.
The remaining 83 minutes were played relatively even between the two sides, as Cardinal Stritch actually outshot TIU in the match, 14-13. Each team's goalkeepers made six saves apiece, as senior Liz Burzynski picked up her fourth clean sheet of the year. Burzynski has now reached 263 consecutive minutes in goal without allowing a goal.
With the win, the Trojans improve their record to 8-2-2 on the year, and 4-1-2 in CCAC play. TIU will have a full week before their next match, when they return to Schartner Field and play host to the Roosevelt Lakers. Kickoff on Saturday, October 25 is set for 12:00 p.m.
