Brett Robinson's first goal of the season proved to be the difference, as the Trinity International Trojans secured a 1-0 win on the road at Olivet Nazarene in CCAC action Saturday afternoon. The win gives TIU their first points over the Tigers in seven seasons, and their first conference victory of the year.

Sean Avila recorded his first shutout this season, making four saves in the win. The Trojans were outshot by ONU 17-4, but were able to find the back of the net on their only shot on goal in the match.
Robinson scored his fourth career goal off a rebounded shot in the 60th minute, giving his team the lead after a scoreless first half. With the win, the Trojans improve to 4-7 on the year, matching last season's win total with a month of the schedule still to play.
The Trojans return home for a pair of matches next week, for a pair of important conference showdowns. TIU will play host to St. Xavier on Wednesday, October 8, starting at 4:00 p.m., before taking on Calumet St. Joseph on Homecoming Saturday, October 11, at 3:00 p.m.
