GOSHEN, Ind. -- Facing their fourth nationally-ranked team in as many games, the Trinity International Trojans suffered a 77-31 loss at the hands of the No. 1-ranked St. Francis (Ind.) Cougars, on the opening night of the Goshen (Ind.) Maple Leaf Classic.

Basha Ramsey led the Trojans with 10 points on the night, going 5-for-11 from the field. As a team, the Trojans shot 31.0% from the field (13-42), but committed a season-high 38 turnovers.
The Trojans (0-4) held a lead in the opening minutes, when freshman
Nika Bracun knocked down a three-pointer, followed by
Amari Parham scoring two possessions later for a 5-0 lead at the 17:47 mark. Trinity would go on to score just six more points throughout the half, as the Cougars went into the halftime break with a 45-11 lead. Ramsey finished the half with six points to lead the Trojans.
St. Francis would expand on their lead throughout the second half, outscoring the Trojans 32-20 after the break.
TIU are back in action Saturday afternoon, when they take on the host Goshen Maple Leafs. Tipoff on the final day of the Maple Leaf Classic is set for 12:00 p.m.
