Quick Notes
• The Trinity International Trojans kick off conference play this week, when they host the Roosevelt Lakers in CCAC action. Tipoff against the North Division rivals is set for Wednesday, November 19, at 7:30 p.m. in Van Dixhorn Arena.
• Wednesday's game will be available via live webcast, at TIUTrojans.com/TIUSportsNetwork.
• Trinity will look to snap a three-game slide, after winning the season opener, 81-67, over Clarke (Iowa) on Oct. 31.
• The Trojans return to Deerfield after spending last weekend in Fairbanks, Alaska, for a pair of exhibition games against the NCAA Division II Alaska Nanooks. TIU earned a 83-73 win in the first meeting, then suffered a close 70-67 loss on the second night.
• Roosevelt swept the season series over the Trojans last year, and have won the past three meetings with TIU.
• Trinity International ranks 3rd in the CCAC in scoring, averaging 74.3 points per game; Roosevelt comes in 10th in the conference, with 68.8 points per game. Defensively, however, the Lakers have allowed just 63.0 points to their opponents, the second-lowest average in the league. TIU has given up 78.7 points per game on the defensive end, ranking 13th out of the 14 CCAC programs.
• Senior center Nate Ball was named CCAC Player of the Week on Nov. 5, after leading the Trojans with 16.0 points and 8.5 rebounds over two games at the Judson Classic.
• The Trojans were 5-25 last season, including a 3-16 mark in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. The team's five wins were the lowest total since 2011-12, and the second-lowest in the past 11 seasons.
• Trinity returns 77.2% of its scoring output from last season, as the top four scorers from a year ago return for the 2014-15 season. TIU also brings back 63.2% of it's rebounding production from last year.

Series History with Roosevelt
• With victories in both meetings last season, Roosevelt took control of the all-time series with Trinity International, and now hold a 4-3 record against the Trojans since the program's revival in 2010.
• The Trojans had won three of the first four meetings with the Lakers, from 2010-2012.
• Trinity holds a 1-2 record against the Lakers in Van Dixhorn Arena.

Last Time Out vs. Roosevelt
• Four Trojans finished in double-figures, as Trinity International had a last-second shot to send the game into overtime, but fell short, 73-70 to the Roosevelt Lakers on Feb. 1, 2014. Sean Smith and Andy Stauffer led TIU with 11 points apiece, while Nate Ball and Justin Peeples collected 10 points on the night.
• The Trojans held an early lead over the Lakers, reaching as high as five points with Peeples' jumper at the 16:56 mark of the first half. Roosevelt answered with a 21-4 run, taking control of the first half with a 12-point lead inside the ten-minute mark of the first half. The Lakers closed the half on a 10-5 run in the final three minutes, taking a 41-25 halftime lead.
• Trinity International started to chip away at the deficit, after Roosevelt scored four straight to open play in the second half. A three-pointer from Stauffer at the 12:38 mark closed the gap to 53-39, the slimmest margin of the half at that point, before RU's Korey Ryan answered with a trey of his own. Back-to-back layups from Thomas Amrine and Smith cut the lead to 59-57 at the five-minute mark.
• The Trojans would make it a one-point game at three different points in the closing minutes, but Roosevelt answered each time on the next play; once with a layup from Korey, and twice by knocking down free throws in the closing minutes. TIU held the ball with six seconds to play, trailing the Lakers 73-70; Ball got a shot off from the left wing to tie the game and force overtime, but the shot was just off the mark.
• Ball finished with his CCAC-leading 11th double-double of the year, with ten rebounds on the night. The junior also recorded a team-high four assists. Markum posted four steals on the night to lead TIU.

League Leaders
• Trinity ranks second in the CCAC with 9.3 steals per game, and third in blocks, with 4.3 per game. Nationally, the Trojans are 13th in the NAIA in steals.
• From the free throw line, the Trojans are converting at a .736 clip, the second-best percentage in the conference.
• Senior Nate Ball is among the CCAC's best in multiple categories; Ball ranks 14th in scoring, with 13.7 points per game, 3rd in rebounding (9.0 per game), 2nd in field goal percentage (.737), and 2nd in blocked shots (2.3).
• Two Trojans are among the top 30 scorers in the conference, with Nate Ball leading the way, followed by Thomas Amrine, with 11.3 points per game.
James Glass is one of four remaining qualifying players in the NAIA with a perfect free throw percentage; the junior has gone 10-for-10 from the charity stripe this season.
• Junior forward David Chatman ranks 10th in the CCAC in steals (1.7 per game), and 13th in blocks (0.7).

• The highest ranking in program history was during the 1995-96 season, when Trinity was at No. 3 in the Jan. 22, 1996 poll.
