Trojans to compete in NCCAA National Tournament as #7 seed

BANNOCKBURN, Ill. — The TIU men's basketball team heads to Winona Lake, Indiana as the #7 seed in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament.

The tournament will consist of eight teams representing six regions and two at-large bids. The eight teams will compete on day one then results will determine bracket placement for the remaining rounds with each team playing in three games.

Championship action begins on Wednesday, March 15th at 12:00pm ET. The semifinals will be on Thursday, March 16th with the championship game on Saturday, March 18 at 5:00pm ET.

Trinity International will open the tournament against Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday the 15th at 12:00pm.


This is the third trip to the NCCAA tournament for the Trojans. During the 1998-99 season they took 3rd place, and most recently finished 4th in the 2015-16 season.
