Women's Basketball falls to Roosevelt

The Trojans were out-rebounded 64-38, which led to 24 second-chance points for the Lakers.

Bracun finished the night with seven rebounds to go along with her new career high, which is also the highest total by a Trojan this season. The forward shot 6-of-15 from the field, and a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line. Mackenzie Crews added ten points off the bench, in 21 minutes of action.

The Slavenski Brod, Croatia native gave the Trojans an early lead, when she knocked down a three-pointer to open the game. Roosevelt would answer, however, with 14 straight points to take control of the first half. The Lakers would take their biggest lead of the half with a Lauren Brower layup with 12 second remaining, and go into the break with a 39-20 edge.

Roosevelt would pull away in the second half, outscoring the Trojans 54-29 after the break. The Trojans struggled to find their shot, going 16-for-60 as a team from the field (26.7%), and 3-of-18 from long range (16.7%).

Bracun and Joy Corley finished as the team's leading rebounders, each pulling down seven boards on the night.

The Trojans will hit the road this weekend, and head to nearby Naperville, Ill., for the Chicago Marriott Naperville Tip-Off Classic, hosted by North Central University. Trinity will face St. Mary's (Ind.) on Friday, November 21, at 12:00 p.m., then take on Millsaps (Miss.) on Saturday, November 22, also at noon.
