PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. -- Facing a total of 19 shots, the Trinity International defense was able to stop all but the last one, as the Trojans suffered a 1-0 loss to Trinity Christian, with the lone goal coming for the Trolls with 16 seconds remaining in regulation.

TCC's Mauricio Salgado fired a shot from inside the box to take the 1-0 lead, ending any chance of extra time.

19-3 in the match, including 10 shots on goal for the Trolls. Senior goalkeeper made nine saves in the match, setting a new season high. The TIU attack generated just one shot on goal, from sophomore Zach Reget.
Trinity International will continue their road trip on Saturday, when TIU travels to Olivet Nazarene. Kickoff against the Tigers is set for 3:00 p.m.
