DEERFIELD, Ill. - With a tie game at the half and despite outshooting their opponents, Trinity International suffered a tough loss in conference play Tuesday afternoon, falling at home to the Judson Eagles, 4-2.

Judson (3-7-1, 2-4 CCAC) recorded the match's first goal in the 5th minute, when Matt Jernee put his team in front 1-0. The Trojans continued to hold the majority of possession, and just before the halftime break,
Erik Yamane's header from
Brett Robinson found the back of the net to even the score.
The physical play that began in the first half carried over into the second, as a combined 38 fouls were called between both sides, and the referees handed out three yellow cards over the final 40 minutes. During that time, in the 58th minute Jurnee found his second goal of the day to move the Eagles back ahead by a goal, 2-1. Less than five minutes later, Filipe Mello doubled Judson's lead with the first of his two goals on the day.
Jordan Dejno got one back in the 83rd minute, scoring his fourth goal of the season to give Trinity a shot at the comeback with just over seven minutes to play. Mello put the match away moments later, however, with a goal in the 85th minute to give the Eagles a 4-2 decision.
Reget led the Trojans with six shots taken on the day, while Dejno had a team-high three shots on goal. Freshman goalkeeper
Jared Yonke recorded three saves.
The Trojans will hit the road this weekend, when they travel to face the Cardinal Stritch Wolves. Kickoff from the Bavarian Soccer Complex in Glendale, Wisc. is set for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10.
